Description
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a private non-profit law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our Consumer Rights Project. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to provide vital legal assistance and representation to low income clients facing consumer-related litigation.
The Role
You will manage a diverse caseload and assist in all phases of litigation. Key responsibilities include:
Case Management: Guiding clients through the intake process, managing deadlines, and maintaining electronic organized case files and calendars.
Drafting & Filing: Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Research: Performing legal research and gathering necessary documentation to support litigation strategies.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Agility: Ability to multi-task and pivot between projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Professionalism: A dependable, detail-oriented team player with top-tier organizational skills.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for frequent client contact.
Programs: demonstrate proficiency with MS Office including word, excel, outlook, power point and PDF creation.
