Kitroser Lewis & Mighdoll is a boutique law firm serving Palm Beach and Martin County with a focused practice in Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Guardianship Administration, Guardianship Litigation, Estate and Trust Litigation. Our litigation team handles high-stakes matters involving will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, elder exploitation claims, and emergency guardianship and injunction proceedings. We regularly appear in the Palm Beach County Probate Division representing fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and families in complex matters that often require urgent action and strategic thinking and meticulous litigation management and execution.
Position Overview:
Kitroser Lewis & Mighdoll is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in probate and guardianship litigation matters, including time-sensitive and emergent proceedings primarily in Palm Beach County. This position plays a critical role in supporting the litigation team through case administration, document preparation, court filings, discovery coordination and consistent client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment where attention to detail, strong judgement and clear communication are essential. This is a full-time, in-person position based in North Palm Beach, Florida.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in Palm Beach County, Florida.
- Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, petitions, and other litigation-related documents.
- Strong familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, the Florida Rules of Probate, and the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with probate, guardianship, or fiduciary litigation is highly desirable.
- Experience with practice management systems, document management systems, and e-discovery software (e.g., Clio, NetDocuments, ShareFile, etc.).
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive).
- Typing proficiency of 65–80 WPM with a high degree of accuracy.
- Paralegal certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or as a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP).
- 2- or 4-year degree in Paralegal Studies preferred.
- Florida Notary preferred or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
