Full-Time | On-Site | Boca Raton, Florida | Palm Beach County

We are a dedicated family law firm serving clients throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida. Our team handles divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, adoption, and domestic violence matters. We are committed to providing compassionate, results-driven representation during some of our clients’ most challenging moments — and we are looking for a paralegal who shares that commitment.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate has hands-on Florida family law experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage a high-volume caseload with professionalism and discretion. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, settlement agreements, and correspondence
Prepare and track mandatory disclosure packages
File documents through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
Calculate child support using Florida Child Support Guidelines Worksheets
Manage case timelines from intake through resolution
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide status updates
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and mediations
Maintain organized and accurate case files in the firm’s case management system
Support attorneys during hearings and trials as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Florida family law paralegal experience
Working knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure
Experience with the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with legal case management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and sensitivity when working with clients in personal matters
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation through The Florida Bar
Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred for our South Florida clientele)
Notary Public commission in the State of Florida
Experience with high-asset divorce and complex financial matters
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or ABA-approved paralegal certificate

Requirements
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, OR completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation through The Florida Bar is a strong plus (not required but signals serious candidates)
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years for junior; 3–5 years for senior
Family law-specific experience strongly preferred — divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, adoption, domestic violence injunctions
Florida court system experience (e-filing through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal)
Core Skills & Knowledge
Drafting family law pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, and settlement agreements
Familiarity with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure
Mandatory disclosure preparation and tracking
Child support guideline calculations (Florida Child Support Guidelines Worksheet)
Case management from intake through resolution
Scheduling depositions, hearings, and mediations
Communicating directly with clients (heavy in family law)
Software
Clio, MyCase, or similar legal case management software

DocuSign or similar
Soft Skills (especially important in family law)
Emotional composure — clients are often in crisis
Discretion and confidentiality

Ability to manage high caseloads and competing deadlines
Nice to Have
Bilingual (English/Spanish is a major asset in South Florida)
Notary Public commission in Florida
Experience with high-asset divorce cases
